Since before I can remember, my parents began taking my siblings and me to the chiropractor for ear infections (brother) and projectile vomiting (myself). A few visits are all it took for us to be able to avoid taking medications or having tubes placed in our ears. Needless to say, I have been a lifelong chiropractic patient ever since, which is what led me on this journey of becoming a chiropractor myself.
I grew up in Rochelle, IL and graduated from Rochelle Township High School in
1995. From there, I attended Kishwaukee Community College for 2 years and then transferred to the University of Illinois and graduated in 1999 with a B.S. of Biology. I pursued my chiropractic aspirations at the fountainhead of chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. I attended Palmer from 2000-2004, which is when I received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree. My wife and I moved to Rockford, IL in 2004 and opened up Cater Chiropractic Clinic, PC on June 1, 2004. My family (wife and 3 kids) are actively involved at and regular attendees of City First Church.
What a blessing this journey has been, to be able to utilize the abilities God has given me to expand my opportunities and my impact and help a multitude of people for His glory. I consider it pure joy to be chosen to be a witness to hundreds of changed lives (physical/mental/emotional/social/spiritual) directly in front of me on a day to day basis.
My hope is that a multitude of people will make the decision to transform their lives and follow along with us on this journey toward TRUE health. “The Power that made the body, heals the body, it happens no other way” – unknown.
